Facilities Provided by the Institute

Recreational Facilities

Following facilities are provided to all members at nominal/subsidised rates/on no-charge basis on all days except closed days (every Tuesday) and specified gazetted holidays :-

1. Small scale private parties in the Main Lawns/Lounge & Roof Top Seating which do not affect normal functioning of the Institute limited upto 20 Nos
2. Small scale private parties in Golf Hut(RV), Machaan, Vishranti, Sky Lounge, The Nook, AC Lounge, Do Drop Inn Cafe & Anubhav Hall Shed, up to 50 pers.
3. DSOM&I Cafeteria for Birth Day Parties/Children's parties upto 50 Nos.
4. Minor functions in the Anubhav Hall/ RNR Lawn & Party Room for duration of 2 to 3 hrs for strength less than 150.
5. Small party room at RNR complex upto strength 20.
6. Roof Top Party venue for strength upto 30.
7. Booking of Anubhav Hall/RNR Lawn for Wedding/ Reception etc by serving/retired officers of Army/Navy/AF.

Centrally Organised Functions

The Institute holds organized functions (Monhly Events) besides, major functions on important occasions like Diwali & Ney Year:-

1. New Year Eve
2. Republic Day Eve
3. Independence Day Eve

The Institute also hosts official functions on special occasions like visit of dignitaries. Specific approval of the President is required for them. Attendance on such occasions is by invitation only. On these days, the Institute shall remain closed for other members.

Private Functions

The Institute provides facilities for hosting of private functions by members after prior permission in writing has been obtained from the Vice President/President. Application should be submitted to the Institute at least seven days prior to the date requested. Rates for the same will be are laid out from time to time. Member offrs messes can also book for such functions.

The following functions are permissible in the Institute :-

1. Small scale private parties in the Main Lawns/Lounge which do not affect normal functioning of the Institute limited upto 20 Nos
2. Small scale private parties in the Golf Hut upto 50 Nos.
3. DSOM&I Cafeteria for Birth Day Parties/Children's parties upto 50 Nos.
4. Minor functions in the Multi Purpose Hall/ L/RNR Lawn & Party Room for duration of 2 to 3 hrs for strength less than 150.
5. Small party room at RNR complex upto strength 20.
6. Roof Top Party venue for strength upto 30.
7. Booking of Multi Purpose Hall/RNR Lawn for Wedding/ Reception etc by serving/retired officers of Army/Navy/AF.
8. Officers Messes which are members of the Institute can also book MP Hall for their regimental functions/Raising Day etc on 50% of the normal rates at the discretion of the President/Patron. This booking can only be given 3 days in advance of the date of function depending upon availability of the venue.

Miscellaneous Aspects for Booking

1. Booking for private functions can be done on any day except closed day, gazetted holidays, monthly events or when central functions are being organized in the Institute.
2. Maintenance/Breakages shall be charged additionally at current Maintenance/replacement/repair rates. Members are advised to obtain a clearance/ no-damage certificate on termination of the party.
3. The Institute shall not be booked by individuals/ unit for parties/functions for promotion of business/sponsorship/raising funds or subscriptions/ or any similar activities. The Institute may, however, organize any other event after prior approval of the President.

• COURSE GET TOGETHER (Under Ageis of IMA) - Booking Charges (10000/-) + Security Deposit- (10000/-)

1. Cat- I: Direct blood relations - Self / Son / Daughters / Real Brother/ Sister / Self Marriage / Reception / Course Get to Gather.
   Cat- II: Close relatives like Grand Children, Nephew, Niece, Brother-in-Law, Sister-in-Law
2. In addition Rs 10,000/- shall be charged for booking in R-n-R Lawn I, Ashirwad & Anubhav Hall respectively as Refundable Security Deposit, to offset any damages / losses as caused to the Institute property during the event.

SMALL PARTIES : BOOKING CHARGES

1. Main Lawn/Lounge

Strength -: Up to 20 persons (2 to 3 hrs)

2.Golf Hut (RV)

(i) Strength -: Up to 70 persons (2-3 hrs)

3. The Perch (Roof Top)

Strength -: Up to 30 persons ( 2 to 3 hrs)

4. Sky Lounge

Strength -: Up to 30 persons (2-3 hrs)

5. Machaan

Strength -: Up to 30 persons (2-3 hrs)

6.Do Drop Inn Cafeteria for Children Parties

Strength -: Up to 50 persons (2-3 hrs)

Farewell Functions

Only the Patron and President of the Institute have the privilege of being given a farewell from the Institute by the Management Committee. No other dining out parties are permitted at the cost of the Institute. However units if desirous of organizing dining out of any of their unit officers will follow same procedure of organizing private parties as per role on subject.

RECIPROCAL MEMBERSHIP

1. Following Institutes are on Reciprocal arrangement with DSOM&I Dehradun:-

2. Reciprocal Member facilities will be provided only to Members visiting the City and not to Members who have permanent residence in the city where the reciprocal Institute is located.

3. Reciprocal Membership will apply only to Armed Forces officers both Serving & Retd and their families. Civilian members shall not be allowed.
