Management of the Institute
General Body
The General Body shall comprise all serving officers, including MNS Officers, posted at Dehradun and under jurisdiction of Station HQ Cell, and the oldest 200 retired Officers in terms of length of Membership and Life Members. A General Body Meeting shall be convened every year preferably coinciding with the end of financial year.
Executive Committee
The Executive Committee will be composed of :-
- Patron : GOC, Uttarakhand Sub Area
- President : Deputy GOC, Uttarakhand Sub Area
- Vice President (Policy) : Nominated by the President amongst the Members of Management Committee
- Vice President (Operation) : Nominated by the President/Commanding Officer of the unit
- Secretary : Selected by the Executive Committee
Responsibilities
The Executive Committee shall be fully responsible for the complete functioning of the Institute within the parameters laid down in these rules by the Management Committee or by the Patron. While each member of the Committee shall have his own exclusive duties, it shall be the collective responsibility of the Committee to ensure that the Institute is managed effectively and efficiently in order to provide optimum service to all members. The Executive Committee shall lay down the guidelines for the Management Committee.

- Vice President (Operation) : Nominated by the President/Commanding Officer of the unit running the Institute
- Ex-Officio Members : Gp Cdr, 501 Field Survey Engineer Group; Commandant, MH Dehradun; Commander, 42 Infantry Brigade; Commander,116 Infantry Brigade; Commander, 69 Mountain Brigade

Responsibilities
The Management of the Institute rests with the Management Committee. The President of the Committee shall preside the Management Committee Meeting. The Committee shall ensure that the functioning of the Institute incl handling of finances are in accordance with the laid down rules and that no deviation from these is permitted.
The Management Committee shall meet once in six months. Special meeting may be held at the discretion of the Patron in case necessitated. At any meeting, 50% of the members shall form the minimum quorum. Each member shall have one vote and in the event of equality of votes, the President shall have a second casting vote in addition to his own vote.
Duties
The Management Committee shall have the following duties :-
- Make / amend / delete rules
- Appoint / dismiss any employee of the Institute
- Approve major purchases
- Cancel membership of individuals for infraction of rules or for other reasons stated in the rule book
- Discuss all agenda points and take necessary decision on them
- Increase/Decrease in subscription rates and other charges
Disciplinary Committee
A Disciplinary Committee comprising the following members shall be established :-

- One lady Officer to be nominated by Military Hospital, Dehradun (Senior MNS Officer also could be nominated)
- Secretary, DSOM&I
All complaints shall be placed before the Committee, which after detailed examination shall recommend necessary action for the approval/decision of the Patron.
